Industrial solar

Industrial solar is planned around the load, the electrical infrastructure, and a roof or piece of land that has been assessed. This page does not publish a standard plant size.

Industrial solar overview

The audience is manufacturing facilities, factories, warehouses, industrial units, and customers in the Pithampur industrial area, along with Indore, Dewas, Dhar, and nearby Madhya Pradesh.

Pithampur is a service area. Being in that area is not a claim that a particular plant is already a customer, and it is not a published capacity.

Industrial electricity consumption

Factories often use power in large, shifting blocks. A load profile shows those blocks. A single monthly bill does not. Shift patterns, seasonal production, and standby loads all change the design conversation.

Generation planning compares the sun on that site with the load that is actually present in daylight. It is an estimate prepared for the site. It is not a guaranteed energy figure on this page.

Rooftop and ground-mounted options

  • Rooftop

Used when the roof structure, access, and fire and walkway clearances allow an array. The structure is assessed. It is not assumed from the year the shed was built.

  • Ground-mounted

Discussed where land is available and the applicable approvals allow it. A field photograph on this website is illustrative. It is not an Anvi Solar plant.

System design considerations

These items are reviewed. Numbers are not published without a project assessment.

  • Load profile

When the plant draws power, and how hard, sets the useful size of the array.

  • Transformer capacity

The existing transformer and the connection limit what can be connected. Capacity is read from the site, not typed into a webpage.

  • Rooftop structural assessment

Purlin, truss, or slab capacity, corrosion, and waterproofing are part of the decision to use a roof.

  • Energy generation planning

Expected generation is estimated from the design and the site conditions. Weather, soiling, and downtime mean it is not a promise.

Electrical infrastructure

AC and DC infrastructure includes cable routes, isolation, protection coordination with the existing switchgear, and the point where the solar system meets the plant supply. Those details are drawings for the project, not a diagram on this page.

Applicable utility approvals, including any net metering or open-access discussion, follow the distribution company and the connection the plant already has. Anvi Solar does not assume an approval.

Safety and protection

  • Electrical protection

DC and AC protection, earthing, and isolation are matched to the design. They are not optional add-ons after the price is agreed.

  • Working on an industrial roof

Height, fragile sheets, and live plant equipment make this a controlled job. This website does not describe how to walk a shed roof or open a panel.

  • Lightning protection

Considered with the building's existing protection. A solar array does not replace a site safety study.

Installation planning

A proposed sequence. Shutdown windows and utility approvals can change the order.

  1. 01

    Enquiry and load discussion

The plant's connection and operating pattern are shared.

  2. 02

    Site assessment

Roof or land, structure, and electrical room are reviewed.

  3. 03

    Design and quotation

The proposal stays specific to that assessment.

  4. 04

    Approvals

Utility and site approvals that apply are identified before installation is treated as ready.

  5. 05

    Installation and handover

Work is planned around the plant. Operating guidance is part of handover.

Maintenance

Soiling, module damage, inverter faults, and loose connections are looked for on a schedule agreed for the site. Cleaning uses the safe access that was part of the design.

Do not bypass a protection device to avoid a trip. A trip is information. Electrical diagnosis belongs with a qualified person.

Industrial solar questions

Can you publish a kilowatt size for my factory?

Not from this page. Size follows the load profile, the roof or land, and the electrical infrastructure after an assessment.

Is ground-mounted solar always an option?

Only where land and the applicable approvals allow it. Many industrial sites are rooftop discussions only.

Will solar keep the plant running in a grid outage?

A conventional on-grid system shuts down during an outage because of anti-islanding. Backup is a separate design and is not unlimited.

Do you serve Pithampur?

Yes, Pithampur is within the published service area, together with Indore, Dewas, Dhar, and nearby Madhya Pradesh.
